A man who was was arrested again on Oct. 5 and charged with drug possession.

According to a police report, police also think he may have been looking for cars to break into.

Firefighters in Teele Square observed the man, 24-year-old Michael Splaine, of 28 High St., checking car doors on Newbury Street at about 6:20 p.m., according to a police report.

When police caught up with Splaine on Broadway they recognized him as the same man allegedly involved in the June car chase, and the police report says he had a history of breaking into cars and using drugs.

Splaine said the bag contained heroin, the report says.
