Police: Cocaine, $2500 Found in South Street Apartment

Drug-sniffing dogs and police found cocaine, over $2500 in cash and drug paraphernalia at a South Street apartment, according to a police report.

Somerville police arrested two Somerville men and a Danvers woman after finding cocaine in a South Street apartment, according to a police report.

According to the report, police executed search warrants at 46 South Street, along the boarder of East Cambridge, not far from , at about 6:24 p.m. on Friday.

Police used drug-sniffing dogs to aid them in the search, the report says.

At the apartment, a 35-year-old man told police he had 12 bags of crack cocaine on him and over 14 grams of cocaine in his bedroom, according to the report. He allegedly told police he cooked the cocaine into crack.

A 36-year-old man at the apartment allegedly told police he also had cocaine on him, which police found in his pocket, the report says.

Police also encountered a 27-year-old woman from Danvers who was wanted on several warrants, according to the report.

In all, police discovered and seized more 43 grams of suspected cocaine, $2505 in cash and drug paraphernalia, the report says.
