Police Booking Log: Two Caught With Stolen Laptops

The following arrest information was supplied by the Somerville Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Arrests made by the Somerville Police Department from Aug. 14 to Aug. 18. Please remember that the charges listed below do not indicate a conviction.

Assault and battery

On Aug. 14, Anthony Silvestri, 58, of 252 Medford St., was arrested on Dane Street and charged with assault with a dangerous weapon. Silvestri, a parking control officer with the city of Somerville, is after a heated argument.

On Aug. 14, Jorge Furtado, 37, of 11 MacArthur St., was arrested at that address and charged with assault and battery.

On Aug. 15, Adam Scott, of Woburn, was arrested on Boston Avenue an charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, resisting arrest and failure to stop for police. . A police report lists his address as 8 Fisk Ave. in Somerville.

On Aug. 15, Siham Talal, 33, of 13 Kennsington Ave., was arrested at that address and charged with assault and battery and resisting arrest.

On Aug. 15, Joseph Tolley, 45, was arrested at 5 Cross St. and charged with assault and battery.

On Aug. 18, Walter Maradiaga, 19, of East Boston, was arrested at 52 Mount Vernon St. and charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and armed assault to rob. Maradiaga is . The woman escaped by kicking him in the shin and screaming, according to a police report.

Larceny and theft

On Aug. 16, Michael Whalen, 46, of 204 Washington St., and Keith Richardson, 26, of Belmont, were arrested at 129 Glen St. Whalen was charged with receiving stolen property, driving with a suspended license and carrying a dangerous weapon. Richardson was charged with drug possession and receiving stolen property. According to a police report, they are accused of having two stolen laptops. Richardson is accused of having six pills of methadone. Whalen is accused of having a spring-loaded knife in his pocket.

On Aug. 17, Shukry Juma, 21, of Charlestown, was arrested at 75 Mystic Ave. and charged with receiving stolen property. He was also arrested on warrants for failure to stop for police, speeding and unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

Operating under the influence

On Aug. 16, Brian Buckely, 30, of Medford, was arrested on College Avenue and charged with operating under the influence of liquor.

On Aug. 16, Wilson Saravia, 25, of East Boston, was arrested on Bonair Street and charged with operating under the influence of liquor.

Driving without a license

On Aug. 18, Rodney Teixeira, 33, of 25 Granite Ave., was arrested on Broadway and charged with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

Other arrests

On Aug. 15, Jose Rodriguez, 23, of 148 Cross St., was arrested at 61 Union Square and charged with disorderly conduct and furnishing a false name or social security number.

On Aug. 15 and again on Aug. 16 Erin Sullivan, 32, of 21 Elm Pl., was arrested at 471 Medford St. and charged with violating a harassment prevention order.

Warrant arrests

On Aug. 14, Tara Gonzalez, 25, of 38 Derby St., was arrested at 220 Washington St. on warrants for assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and assault and battery.

On Aug. 15, Josue Erazo, 27, of East Boston, was arrested at 299 Broadway on warrants for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, operating under the influence of liquor and leaving the scene of property damage.

On Aug. 17, James Hook, 44, of Cambridge, was arrested at 9 Davis Square on a warrant for larceny.
