Police Booking Log: Disturbance at Market Basket

Arrests made by the Somerville Police Department from Nov. 21 to Nov. 25. Please remember that the charges listed below do not indicate a conviction.
Assault and battery
On Nov. 21, Kelvin Lewis, 22, of Dorchester, was arrested at 388 Somerville Ave. and charged with assault and battery and disorderly conduct. According to a police report, Lewis was angry and verbally abusive toward a victim at Market Basket, and he was asked to leave. Later, Lewis, still angry, grabbed the victim and dragged her behind a fence near Market Basket, the report says.
On Nov. 24, Karin Tavares, 33, of 36 Horace St., was arrested at that address and charged with assault and battery.

Larceny, theft and shoplifting
On Nov. 24, Carlos Carrion-Rosa, 44, of Cambridge, was arrested at 77 Middlesex Ave. and charged with shoplifting. Carrion-Rosa was accused of shoplifting electronics and donut sticks from Kmart.
Operating under the influence
On Nov. 25, Carlos Pineda, 35, of Everett, was arrested on Broadway and charged with operating under the influence of liquor. According to a police report, Pineda was swerving and driving 5 miles per hour when pulled over.

Driving without a license
On Nov. 22, Adriel Leguisamon, 27, of Cambridge, was arrested on Lowell Street and charged with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.
Other arrests
On Nov. 22, John Howard, 29, of 21 Carlton St., was arrested at 21 Sewall St. and charged with disorderly conduct.
Warrant arrests
On Nov. 23, Mark Means, 44, of Cambridge, was arrested outside Somerville on warrants for assault to murder, violating an abuse prevention order, assault with a dangerous weapon and breaking and entering.
On Nov. 23, Roger Glover, 47, of 125B Alewife Brook Pkwy., was arrested at 125C Alewife Brook Pkwy. on a warrant for assault and battery.
On Nov. 24, Dener Fernandes, 40, of Medford, was arrested at 75 Mystic Ave. on warrants for operating with a suspended license and failure to stop or yield.
