Police Booking Log: Teens Caught on Roof of Cummings School

Arrests made by the Somerville Police Department from Aug. 26 to Sept. 2. Please remember that the charges listed below do not indicate a conviction.

Assault and battery


On Aug. 28, Michael Crawford, 37, of 639 Somerville Ave., was arrested at that address and charged with assault and battery.

On Aug. 28, Shreya Shah, 25, of Waltham, was arrested at 76 Moreland St. and charged with assault and battery, assault and battery on a police officer and resisting arrest. Ayushman Rayamajhi, 22, was arrested at the same time and address and charged with disorderly conduct.

On Aug. 29, Regan Tims, 36, of 56 Pearson Ave., was arrested at that address and charged with assault and battery on a person over 60, witness intimidation and resisting arrest.

Larceny, theft, shoplifting, breaking and entering


On Sept. 1, John Wrobel, 50, of Cambridge, was arrested at 230 Somerville Ave. and charged with breaking and entering. He is accused of breaking into a moving company's office and sleeping there.

On Sept. 1, Mychael Johnson, 32, of Holbrook, was arrested at 220 Washington St. and charged with larceny and conspiracy.

On Sept 2, Robert Coleman, 58, of Cambridge, was arrested at 180 Somerville Ave. and charged with shoplifting and furnishing a false name or social security number.

Driving without a license


On Sept. 2, Joel Moniya-Quinone, 36, of Lawrence, was arrested at 530 Mystic Ave. and charged with speeding and unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

Other arrests


On Aug. 26, Michael Lopes, 24, of 34 Summer St., was arrested at 282 McGrath Highway and charged with disorderly conduct.

On Aug. 28, Marc Marino, 18, of Medford, and Gary Mercer, 18, of 20 Berkeley St., were arrested at 93 School St. and charged with trespassing. According to a police report, Marino and Mercer are accused of climbing onto the roof of the Cummings School at about 2:40 a.m. Police called in a ladder from the fire department to get them down, the report says.

On Aug. 30, Robert Ringler, 56, of Arlington, was arrested at 3 Dartmouth St. and charged with disorderly conduct and possession of a dangerous weapon.

Warrant arrests


On Aug. 26, John Howard, 30, of 21 Carlton St., was arrested at 30 River Rd. on a warrant for disorderly conduct.

On Aug. 27, Michael Edwards, 37, of Medford, was arrested at 9 Bond St., on warrants for drug possession.

On Aug. 27, Paul Silva, 47, of 370 Highland Ave., was arrested at 265 Medford St. on warrants for larceny, breaking and entering and destruction of property.

On Aug. 28, Alex Gomes, 24, of 298 McGrath Highway, was arrested at 292 McGrath Highway on warrants for possession of burglarious instruments, larceny, and attempting to commit crime.

On Aug. 28, Luis DeSouza, 45, of Lynn, was arrested on Broadway on warrants for assault and battery, destruction of property and driving with a suspended license.

On Aug. 29, Kim Smith, 23, of 24 Charlestown St., was arrested at that address on warrants for making a burglarious instrument and breaking and entering.

On Sept. 1, Jorge Ramos, 19, of 17 Autumn St., was attested at 5 Autumn St. on a warrant for assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.

On Sept. 1, Steven West, 55, of 301 Alewife Brook Parkway, was arrested at 500 Mystic Ave. on warrants for driving with a suspended registration, driving an unregistered motor vehicle and driving an unregistered motor vehicle or trailer.

On Sept. 1, Robert Akins, 44, of Framingham, was arrested at 105 Middlesex Ave. on warrants for larceny and shoplifting.

On Sept. 2, John Wrobel, 50, of Cambridge, was arrested on Bleachery Court and charged with violating an open container law.
