Police Booking Log: Man Shoplifts $336 Worth of Razor Blades and Clothes

Arrests made by the Somerville Police Department from Aug. 19 to 26. Please remember that the charges listed below do not indicate a conviction.
Assault and battery
On Aug. 21, Nancy Aviles, 24, of 15A Memorial Rd., was arrested at 137 Washington St. and charged with assault and battery.
On Aug. 23, Juan Castro, of 41 Main St., was arrested on Broadway and charged with assault and battery.
Larceny, theft and shoplifting
On Aug. 19, Peter Canniff, 28, of Marshfield, was arrested at 77 Middlesex Ave. and charged with shoplifting and furnishing a false name. He was also arrested on warrants for disorderly conduct, shoplifting, conspiracy and refusal to provide a DNA sample. According to a police report, Canniff tried to shoplift $336.65 worth of razor blades and clothes from Kmart.
On Aug. 25, Galeas Saravia, 28, of 16 Fellsway West, was arrested at 775 McGrath Highway and charged with shoplifting and furnishing a false name or social security number. He was also arrested on warrants for driving with a suspended license, failing to wear a seatbelt and passing violation.
Driving without a license
On Aug. 25., Jordan Huff, 26, of Brookline, was arrested at 7 Union Square and charged with driving with a suspended license.
Other arrests
On Aug. 22, Jing Mei, 63, of 94 Beacon St., was arrested at 205 Beacon St. and charged with open and gross lewdness. He is accused of exposing himself while wearing "pum pum shorts."
On Aug. 25, John Sherman, 56, of 26 Welsley St., was arrested at that address and charged with violating an abuse prevention order.
On Aug. 26, Michael Lopes, 24, of 34 Summer St., was arrested at 282 McGrath Highway and charged with disorderly conduct.
Warrant arrests
On Aug 19, John Sherman, 56, of 26 Welsley St., was arrested at that address on a warrant for shoplifting.
On Aug. 8, Washington Fonseca, 31, of 422 Mystic Ave., was arrested on Fellsway West on warrants for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and an equipment violation.
On Aug. 20, Jammy Aphonse, 19, of 25 Canal Lane., was arrested at 175 Fellsway on warrants for driving with a suspended license, number plate violation, driving an unlicensed motor vehicle or trailer, driving an unregistered motor vehicle, driving a vehicle that doesn't meet safety standards and equipment violation.
On Aug. 21, Jonathan Machado, 18, of 79 Josephine Ave., was arrested at 460 Mystic Ave. on warrants for breaking and entering and conspiracy.
On Aug. 22, John McClean, 53, of Cambridge, was arrested in Davis Square on a warrant for larceny.
On Aug. 26, Jose Ottero, 28, of Hyde Park, was arrested at 199 Broadway on warrants for driving with a suspended license and a number plate violation.
