Police Booking Log: Man Punches Grandmother's Television

Arrests made by the Somerville Police Department from Dec. 9 to Dec. 14. Please remember that the charges listed below do not indicate a conviction.

Assault and battery

On Dec. 9, Joshua Foote, 22, of 23 MacArthur St., was arrested at that address and charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and destruction of property. According to a police report, Foote's grandmother called police because she wanted the 22-year-old to leave her house. He left without incident, but about half an hour later he returned to the home, the report says. It says he climbed through a kitchen window and flipped over a table, which struck his grandmother and knocked her over while breaking a radio and ripping curtains. Afterward, according to the report, he punched the television, smashing the screen, took a laptop and headphones, and, as he left, broke a window off the front porch. According to the report, he then fled, but police found him at the intersection of Pearl and Walnut streets.

On Dec. 12, Vincent Norwood, 38, of Dorchester, was arrested at 25 Main St. and charged with assault and battery and resisting arrest.

On Dec. 14, Anthony Johns, 21, of 10 Ten Hills Rd., was arrested at that address and charged with assault and battery.

Driving without a license

On Dec. 12, Cesar Reis, 62, of Medford, was arrested on Pearl Street and charged with driving with a suspended license and failing to stop or yield.

Warrant arrests

On Dec. 12, Juan Navarro, 45, of 19 Edmands St., was arrested at 175 Fellsway on a warrant for armed robbery.

On Dec. 13, Damon Delgaudio, 44, of Medford, was arrested on Stone Avenue on a warrant for driving with a suspended license.

On Dec. 13, Mark Cremin, 25, of Everett, was arrested on Broadway on a warrant for receiving stolen property.
