Police Booking Log: Man in 'Belichick' Hoodie Robs Convenience Store

The following arrest information was supplied by the Somerville Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Arrests made by the Somerville Police Department from Dec. 10 to Dec. 16. Please remember that the charges listed below do not indicate a conviction.

Assault and battery

On Dec. 14, Javier Padilla, 44, of 41 Main St., was arrested at that address and charged with assault and battery and furnishing a false name or social security number.

Larceny and theft

On Dec. 11, Ericka McLaughlin, 35, of 199 Pearl St., was arrested on Fellsway West and charged with larceny.

On Dec. 12, Edward Mahoney, 49, of 31 Wilton St., was arrested on Broadway and charged with armed robbery. According to a police report, Mahoney was caught on video robbing Aggies Place convenience store on Pearl Street on Dec. 10. The police report says the suspect in the robbery entered the store wearing a gray "Belichick style hooded sweatshirt," told the clerk he had a gun and grabbed cash from the register before driving off in a Ford Explorer. The report says that two days later police saw the same Ford Explorer at Minute Market at 141 Broadway. The operator of the car was familiar to police, and a detective, when he was off duty, cruised by that person's residence and also noticed the Ford Explorer there, the report says. According to the report, the detctive followed the Ford as it drove back to Minute Market, called for backup, and arrested the driver, who was Mahoney.

Drug-related arrests

On Dec. 11, Antonio Cardoso, 34, of 137 Pearl St., and Rachel Barnett, 20, of 15 Canal Ln., were arrested on Broadway and charged with being present where heroin was kept. Kristen Barnett, 23, of 30 Memorial Rd., was arrested and charged with drug possession.

On Dec. 11, Rumeno Romero, 28, of Chelsea, was arrested at 75 Mystic Ave. and charged with drug distribution.

On Dec. 11, Gibran Tabrares-Gomes, 28, of Revere, was arrested at 75 Mystic Ave. and charged with cocaine trafficking, conspiracy to violate drug law and furnishing a false name. Tabrares-Gomes was accused of dealing cocaine.

On Dec. 11, Hector Concepcion, 29, of Revere, was arrested at 75 Mystic Ave., and charged with cocaine trafficking, conspiracy to violate drug law and being a fugitive from justice on court. Concepcion was .

On Dec. 13, Jeramaine Broawn, 40, of Dorchester, was arrested on Broadway and charged with drug possession.

On Dec. 13, Rodney Marcellus, 34, of Quincy, was arrested at 530 Mystic Ave. and charged with cocaine trafficking and drug violation near a school or park.

On Dec. 14, Sarah Virla, 29, of Malden, was arrested at 64 Temple St. and charged with drug possession and driving with a suspended license.

Operating under the influence

On Dec. 15., Carol Fitting, 44, of Malden, was arrested at 78 Gilman St. and charged with operating under the influence of drugs.

Other arrests

On Dec. 10, Cheikhou Gueye, 43, of Medford, was arrested at 366 Somerville Ave. and charged with disorderly conduct.

On Dec. 14, Daniel Gentile, 52, of 40 Florence St., was arrested at 44 Pearl St. and charged with violating an abuse prevention order.

Warrant arrests

On Dec. 11, Rolando Verde, 32, of East Boston, was arrested at 75 Mystic Ave. on warrants for drug possession, driving with a suspended license, marked lanes violation and operating under the influence of liquor.

On Dec. 13, Patrick Brennan, 48, of Weymouth, was arrested at 9 Davis Square on a warrant for operating under the influence of liquor.

On Dec. 14, Noel Pefine, 44, of Medford, was arrested at 81 Holland St. on warrants for a number plate violation, violating an abuse prevention order, driving with a suspended license and driving an unregistered motor vehicle.

On Dec. 14, Lesroy Ottley, 46, of Mattapan, was arrested on Broadway on warrants for operating with a suspended license, having an uninsured motor vehicle or trailer and failing to stop or yield.

On Dec. 15, Tancredo Silva, 27, of 72 Rush St., was arrested at 97 Pearl St. on warrants for destruction of property and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.

On Dec. 15, John Igo, 50, of 252 Powderhouse Blvd., was arrested at 220 Washington St. on warrants for assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, assault and battery and trespassing.

On Dec. 16, James Niemczyk, 39, of 37 Sydney St., was arrested at that address on warrants for trespassing on state or county property and drug possession.
