Police Booking Log: Man Breaks Officer's Oakley Sunglasses

Arrests made by the Somerville Police Department from May 29 to June 3. Please remember that the charges listed below do not indicate a conviction.

Assault and battery

On June 1, Marckweel Vital, 24, of 20 Memorial Rd., was arrested at 30 Washington St. and charged with assault, resisting arrest, assault and battery on a police officer, disorderly conduct, destruction of property and assault and battery. According to a police report, Vital is accused of slapping a woman, said to be his mother, in his car. He is also accused of acting in a threatening manner toward a woman who called 911. According to the police report, police stopped him in the parking lot of the , and when they tried to arrest him he struggled, elbowing a police officer and breaking the officer's Oakely sunglasses. Police used pepper spray to subdue him, the report says.

On June 2, Brian Botelho, 34, of Everett, was arrested at 21 Nashua St. and charged with assault and battery and witness intimidation.

On June 6, Joseph Weisberg, 54, of Lexington, was arrested at 486 Colombia St. and charged with assault with a dangerous weapon, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and threat to commit crime. Weisberg is because Weisberg was angry with the way that man was driving.

Drug-related arrests

On June 1, Franklin Perez-Iglesias, 19, of 510 Mystic Ave., was arrested at that address and charged with drug possession and drug violation near a school. According to a police report, Perez-Iglesias is accused of distributing cocaine in the Mystic View Housing Development.

Other arrests

On May 29, Mathew Marujo, 18, of 30 Linden St., was arrested at 24 Melvin St. and charged with possession of a dangerous weapon.

On May 31, Moacir Silva, 26, of 14 Kilby St., was arrested at that address and charged with violating an abuse prevention order.

On May 31, Everett Goss, 44, was arrested at 9 Davis Square and charged with dosorderly conduct.

On June 2, Britni Boninatis, 27, of New Jersey, was arrested at 23 Cummings St. and charged with sexual conduct for a fee. According to a police report, she is accused of accepting $200 at for sexual services.

On June 3, Michael Duffy, 28, of 70 Summer St., was arrested at 523 Broadway and charged with disorderly conduct and possession of a dangerous weapon. In connection to the same incident, Steven Domings, 21, of 82 Gilman St., and Zachary Corey, 21, of 9 Fennell St., were arrested and charged with disorderly conduct. All three men are .

Warrant arrests

On May 29, a 17-year-old from West Somerville was arrested at 19 Newbury St. on a warrant for disorderly conduct.

On May 30, Richard Baker, 40, of Braintree, was arrested at 1137 Broadway on warrants for driving an unregistered vehicle, leaving the scene of personal injury and driving an uninsured vehicle or trailer.

On May 31, Joel Agosto, 26, of Lynn, was arrested at 5 Cross St. on warrants for resisting arrest, attempting to commit crime, larceny, trespassing, violating an abuse prevention order, furnishing a false name or social security number, larceny from a person, destruction or property and assault.

On May 30, John McClean, 52, of Cambridge, was arrested at on Grove Street on warrants for larceny from a person and assault.

On June 1, Harold Barnett, 29, of Peabody, was arrested at 500 Mystic Ave. on warrants for resisting arrest, assault and battery, shoplifting and violating a municipal ordinance.
