Police Booking Log: Man Brandishes Axe in Davis Square

The following arrest information was supplied by the Somerville Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Arrests made by the Somerville Police Department from July 30 to Aug. 5. Please remember that the charges listed below do not indicate a conviction.

Assault and battery

On July 30, George Bourgeois, 22, of 63 Raymond Ave., was arrested at that address and charged with assault and battery.

On July 31, Mark Morris, 38, of 37 Lowell St., was arrested at that address and charged with aggravated assault and battery.

On July 31, Tommy Tom, 39, of 327 Highland Ave., was arrested at 58 Day St. and charged with assault with a dangerous weapon. According to allegations in a police report, at about 2:30 p.m. Tom parked his pickup truck in a handicapped spot on Day street, near the Post Office, and when another man pointed that out, Tom "went ballistic and started yelling." According to the allegations, Tom spit in the man's face, then went to the bed of his pickup, took out a pickaxe and told the man he was going to kill him. According to the report, a number of witnesses corroborated this story.

On July 31, Justin Bishop, 26, of 31 Madison St., was arrested at 30 Broadway and charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and assault with a dangerous weapon. Bishop is .

On Aug. 1, Lynne Baker, 32, of Everett, was arrested at 11 Silvey Place, and charged with assault and battery.

On Aug. 1, Abu Taher, 38, of 5 Putnam St., was arrested at that address and charged with assault and battery.

On Aug. 2, Matthew Galewski, 34, was arrested at 1 Capen Court and charged with assault and battery and unarmed robbery. According to allegations in a police report, Galewski slapped a woman who said she was his girlfriend and stole $800 from her pocketbook. 

On Aug. 4, Joseph Killoren, 30, of 585 Broadway, was arrested at 20 Fisk Ave. and charged with assault and battery and assault with a dangerous weapon.

On Aug. 4, Juan Deleon-Carpio, 51, of 9 Washington St., was arrested at 61 Union Square and charged with assault with a dangerous weapon and indecent exposure. , wiping his hands on a man who told him to stop urinating in public, then pulling a knife on the man and his girlfriend.

Drug-related arrests

On Aug. 2, David Miles, 41, of 79 Dover St. and Angela Pisani, 40, of Malden, were arrested at 79 Dover St. and charged with drug possession to distribute, conspiracy to violate drug law and drug violation near a school. According to a police report, police executed a search warrant at 79 Dover St. and found baggies of heroin and a plate containing heroin. P.

On Aug. 3, Shannon O'Donnell, 27, of Charlestown, was arrested at 77 Middlesex Ave. and charged with drug possession and shoplifting.

Operating under the influence

On Aug. 4, Sebastian Almedia, 37, of 30 Ten Hills Rd., was arrested at 117 School St. and charged with operating under the influence of liquor and unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

Driving without a license

On July 30, Petronilio Desouza, 42, of Everett, was arrested at 220 Washington St. and charged with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

On Aug. 4, Michael Grossi, 42, of Lynn, was arrested at 238 Washington St. and charged with driving with a suspended license.

On Aug. 4, Phillip Dipietro, 34, of 26 Warwick St., was arrested at 269 Somerville Ave. and charged with driving with a suspended license.

Other arrests

On July 30, Louis Spezzafero, 51, was arrested at 300 Alewife Brook Parkway and charged with trespassing and disorderly conduct.

On July 30, Vanessa Ribeiro, 26, of 1374 Broadway, was arrested at 1366 Broadway and charged with disorderly conduct.

On Aug. 1, Anthony Dinapoli, 41, of 57 Pearson Rd., was arrested at that address and charged with violating an abuse prevention order.

On Aug. 1, Francis Barrett, 73, James Traynor, 58, and Jude Norman, 49, were arrested at 320 Somerville Ave. and charged with violating open container laws.

Warrant arrests

On July 30, Angel Rivera, 44, of Lowell, was arrested on McGrath Highway on a warrant for threatening to commit crime.

On July 30, Richard Randall, 67, of Malden, was arrested on Broadway on a warrant for criminal harassment.

On July 30, Kendra Giarratana, 32, of Malden, was arrested at 300 Alewife Brook Parkway on a warrant for assault and battery.

On Aug. 1, Anne Feeley, 37, of Malden, was arrested at 77 Middlesex Ave. on warrants for shoplifting, shoplifting by concealing and larceny.

On Aug. 2, Kevin Boynton, 28, of Dorchester, was arrested at 175 Fellsway on warrants for destruction of property and breaking and entering.

On Aug. 2, Scott Badeau, 47, was arrested at 100 Willow Avenue on a warrant for trespassing.

On Aug. 3, Kerry Crotty, 33, of Cambridge, was arrested in Cambridge on warrants for conspiracy, uttering a false instrument, forgery of a document and larceny.

On Aug. 3, William Reardon, 52, was arrested on Grove Street on a warrant for failure to register as a sex offender.

On Aug. 4, Ivaldo Dasilva, 39, of Medford, was arrested at 299 Broadway on a warrant for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

On Aug. 4, Jose Aguilar, 24, of Boston, was arrested at 5 Everett Ave. on a warrant for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

On Aug. 5, Yenasi Morales, 21, of Lynn, was arrested at 79 Broadway on warrants for driving with a suspended license, driving an unregistered motor vehicle and having an uninsured motor vehicle or trailer.
