Police Booking Log: Cops Make Heroin Bust, Catch Alleged Bike Thief

The following arrest information was supplied by the Somerville Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Arrests made by the Somerville Police Department from Jan. 30 to Feb.6. Please remember that the charges listed below do not indicate a conviction.

Assault and battery

On Jan. 31, Bradford Cutty, 30, of 56 Otis St., was arrested at that address and charged with aggravated assault and battery. He was also arrested on warrants for larceny, conspiracy and defacing property and breaking and entering.

On Feb. 3, Ronald Ferrari, 39, of 35 Pearl St., was arrested at that address and charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, assault and battery and witness intimidation.

On Feb. 5, Jordan Kane, 30, of 55 Marshall St., was arrested at that address and charged with attempted murder, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and assault and battery. It is the policy of Somerville Police not to release information about cases involving domestic disturbances.

Larceny and theft

On Feb. 2, a 17-year-old from Dorchester was arrested at 66 Myrtle St. and charged with larceny, carrying a dangerous weapon and possession of burglarious instruments. .

On Feb. 4, Anthony Borges, 38, of 55 Glenwood Rd., was arrested on Adams Street and charged with breaking and entering, receiving stolen propery, carrying a dangerous weapon and destruction of property. He was also arrested on warrants for drug possession. .

Drug-related arrests

On Feb. 2, Dawn Pyne, 34, of 70 Perkins St., was arrested at that address and charged with posession of drugs with intent to distribute. .

On Feb. 3, Richard Romano, 42, of Saugus, was arrested on Mount Vernon Street and charged with drug possession with intent to distribute and failure to stop for police.

Operating under the influence

On Jan. 30, Jason Del Valle, 22, of Roslindale, was arrested at 390 Broadway and charged with operating under the influence of liquor.

On Jan. 31, Jose Wilkins, 26, of Cambridge, was arrested on Bow Street and charged with operating under the influence of liquor.

On Feb. 6, Matthew Sullivan, 21, of 17 Albion Place, was arrested at 504 Medford St. and charged with operating under the influence of drugs, a marked lane violation and possession of a dangerous weapon. According to a police report, Sullivan is accused of going on a "joy ride" with friends while smoking marijuana. He is also accused of having pepper spray in his car.

Driving without a license

On Feb. 4, Julio Sanchez, 38, of 10 Memorial Rd., was arrested on Mystic Avenue and charged with driving with a suspended license, using a motor vehicle without authorization and possessing an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle.

On Feb. 5, Irvin Ponce, 22, of Chelsea, was arrested on Broadway and charged with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

Other arrests

On Jan. 30, Murilo Rechetnicou, 25, of 432 Medford St., was arrested at that address and charged with violating an abuse prevention order.

On Jan. 30, Maria Caruso, 48, of 97 Ten Hills Rd., was arrested at that address as a courtesy booking for another police department.

On Feb. 1, Brian Murphy, 44, of Duxbury, was arrested at 84 Washington St. as a courtesy booking for another police department.

On Feb. 3, Michael Murphy, 30, of 474 Broadway, was arrested at that address and charged with violating an abuse prevention order.

Warrant arrests

On Jan. 30, Kathleen Jones, 44, of Taunton, was arrested at 238 Washington St. on a warrant for larceny.

On Jan. 30, Steve Milice, 19, of 34 North St., was arrested at that address on a warrant for defrauding a restaurant.

On Jan. 31, Tammy King, 26, of Lynn, was arrested on Ash Avenue on a warrant for assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.

On Feb. 1, Jessica Caze, 26, of Chealsea, was arrested at 175 Washington St. on a warrant for driving with a suspended license.

On Feb. 2, Stuart Powers, 38, of 37 Garrison Ave., was arrested at 40 Garrison Ave. on warrants for speeding, faling to stop or yield, driving an unregistered motor vehicle and driving with a suspended license.

On Feb. 2, Christopher Snow, 35, was arrested on Broadway on warrants for assault with a dangerous weapon, attempt to commit crime and motor vehicle larceny.

On Feb. 3, Megan Latanowich, 22, of 16 Lee St., was arrested at that address on warrants for uttering a false instrument (issuing a forged document, often a check), credit card fraud and receiving a stolen credit card.

On Feb. 5, John Prince, 29, of Medford, was arrested by Somerville Police in Cambridge on a warrant for larceny. Here's an interesting web page about police making arrests out of their own city.
