Police Booking Log: Aug. 8-14

The following arrest information was supplied by the Somerville police department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Somerville police made 31 arrests last week. Please remember that the charges listed below do not indicate a conviction.

Assault and battery
On Aug. 8, Jose Travanca, 78, of 3 Church St., was arrested at 220 Washington St. and charged with indecent assault and battery.

On Aug. 8, Kevin Ortega, 22, of Allston, was arrested and charged with assault and battery, defacing property and destruction of property.

On Aug. 8, Colin Pickard, 26, of 82 Columbus Ave., was arrested at that address and charged with assault and battery on a police officer and disorderly conduct. Earlier that day, he was arrested at 40 Union Square and charged with assault and battery.

On Aug. 10, Jaun Martinez, 37, of 17 Michigan Ave. was arrested at that address and charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and assault and battery.

On Aug. 11, Victoriano Tejada, 44, of 28 Melvin St., was arrested at that address and charged with assault with a dangerous weapon.

On Aug. 11, Tyrone Quintana-Rivera, 27, of Boston, was arrested at 12 Fountain Ave. and charged with assault with a dangerous weapon and assault and battery.

On Aug. 11, Peter Garcia, 25, of Boston, was arrested at 12 Fountain Ave. and charged with assault with a dangerous weapon and assault and battery.

On Aug. 12 a 25-year-old man from Boston was arrested at 36 College Ave. and charged with disorderly conduct and assault and battery. (Ed. note: Somerville Patch has removed this man's name because the charges against him were dropped.)

On Aug. 13, Jason Roger Roy, 38, of 13 Howe St., was arrested at that address and charged with assault and battery, drug possession and threat to commit crime.

On Aug. 14, David Jean-Louis, 21, of 374 Prospect St., was arrested at that location and charged with assault and battery, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, disorderly conduct and intimidating a witness.

Larceny and theft
On Aug. 10, Richard Basler, 44, of Medford, was arrested at 75 Mystic Avenue and charged with larceny.

On Aug. 12, Michelle Harris, 42, of 3 Quincy St., was arrested at 380 Somerville Ave. and charged with unarmed robbery.

On Aug. 13, Walter Sauer, 59, of Cambridge, was arrested at 775 McGrath Highway and charged with shoplifting.

Drug-related arrests
On Aug. 9, Omar Legall, 28, was arrested at 25 River Rd. and charged with drug possession, trespassing, drug violation near a school and possession of a dangerous weapon.

On Aug. 10, Lisa Splaine, 46, was arrested on College Avenue and charged with drug possession.

Driving without a license
On Aug. 8, Raymond Valente, 54, of Marlboro, was arrested on Prospect Street and charged with driving with a suspended license.

On Aug. 10, Schuylar Oppenheimer, 20, of Cambridge, was arrested at 5 Canal Lane and charged with driving with a suspended license.

On Aug. 14, Laercio Silva, 44, of Medford, was arrested on Medford Street and charged with driving without a license. 

Other arrests
On Aug. 9, Michael Huskey, 23, of 326 Somerville Ave., was arrested at that address and charged with violating an abuse prevention order.

On Aug. 11, Julio De Jesus, 32, was arrested on Cross Street and charged with disorderly conduct and destruction of property.

On Aug. 12, Brooks Goodyear, 22, of Winchester, was arrested at 58 Dearborn Rd. and charged with destruction of property, disorderly conduct and trespassing. 

On Aug. 13, Jacob Caveny, 19, of Bedford, NH., was arrested at 19 Sawyer Ave. and charged with destruction of property.

On Aug. 13, Michael McGann, 50, of Cambridge, was arrested at 268 Washington St. and charged with violating an abuse prevention order.

On Aug. 14, Victor Gandres, 45, was arrested at 66 Fellsway West and charged with having an open container and indecent exposure.

Warrant arrests
On Aug. 10, Danielle Doherty, 23, of Everett, was arrested at 1374 Broadway on warrants related to larceny and assault and battery.

On Aug. 11, Steven Harter, 58, of 109 Highland Ave., was arrested at 25 Highland Ave. on a warrant related to making a taxi pickup out of the authorized municipality.

On Aug. 12, Joseph Frazier, 55, of Watertown, was arrested at 137 Washington St. on warrants related to assault and battery.

On Aug. 12, Frank Laporta, 27, was arrested at 199 Pearl St. on a warrant related to robbery.

On Aug. 12, Roberto Silva, 33, of 92 Marshall St., was arrested on Medford Street on a warrant related to driving with a suspended license.

On Aug. 13, Walter Rodrigues, 45, of Medford, was arrested at 49 Broadway on a warrant related to driving with a suspended license.

On Aug. 14, David Calmo, 25, of Everett, was arrested at 96 Jaques St. on a warrant related to resisting arrest.
