Malden Man Allegedly Caught with Heroin, Cocaine in Milk Bottles in Somerville

The man was charged with trafficking in heroin and cocaine.

A 37-year-old Malden man was allegedly caught with 114 grams of heroin and 68 grams of cocaine in milk bottles in his vehicle in Somerville.

Steven Pinson has been charged with trafficking in heroin and cocaine, according to a Thursday release from the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office.

He was arraigned on the charges in Somerville District Court and held on $5,000 cash bail by Judge Neil Walker.

Authorities received information about an upcoming drug transaction and staked out the area, according to the district attorney’s office. After witnessing Pinson complete the deal, Somerville police moved in and arrested him, according to the release.

The drugs were contained in several milk bottles, which were in an “electronic hide” in Pinson’s vehicle, authorities said.
