Bulger Strangled Flemmi's Stepdaughter, Says Bulger's Associate

Stephen "The Rifleman" Flemmi admitted he had sexual relations with the murder victim, a woman who called him "daddy."

In testimony delivered Monday, Stephen "The Rifleman" Flemmi, once James "Whitey" Bulger's right-hand man, pinned a number of murders on Bulger. Among those murders was that of Flemmi's common-law stepdaughter, Deborah Hussey, according to media reports of the federal trial against Bulger.

What's more, Flemmi admitted to having had oral sex with Hussey, a girl he had known since she was two-years old and who called Flemmi "daddy," according to Boston.com.

Flemmi had a longtime relationship with Hussey's mother, Marion Hussey. The two had children together, but Deborah was a child from Marion's previous marriage.

Flemmi called his sexual relations with Deborah Hussey a "moment of weakness."

The former gangster, who's serving a life-sentence in prison, said Bulger insisted on killing Hussey, then 26, because she was a liability, having gotten involved in drugs and prostitution and taken up the habit of dropping Bulger and Flemmi's names around town, according to WBUR.

Flemmi told the jurors he lured Hussey to 799 E. 3rd St. in South Boston, where Bulger strangled her, according to WBUR and other media reports. That was in 1984.

On Friday, Flemmi testified that in 1981 Bulger also strangled Deborah Davis, also 26 and Flemmi's girlfriend, in a similar manner, according to NBC.

Flemmi also testified that Bulger was responsible for the murder of others, including John McIntyre, Arthur Bucky Barrett, John Callahan, Michael Donahue and Brian Halloran.

According to WBUR, prosecutors plan to wrap up their questioning at the end of this week. Flemmi is expected back on the stand Tuesday, the radio station reported.
