Law enforcement officials recovered a dead body in Somerville Sunday night, according to Trooper Dustin Fitch of the Massachusetts State Police.

Fitch referred questions about the incident to the Middlesex District Attorney's office and did not have information about where, specifically, the body was found.

A witness to police activity told Somerville Patch the body was discovered in the area around Interstate 93 close to Exit 28 and McGrath Highway. That information has not been confirmed.

Somerville Patch left voice mail messages with the Middlesex District Attorney's office and will provide more information when it's available.

Fitch, speaking at around 10:20 p.m. Sunday, said of the incident, "It doesn't seem suspicious."
