3 Arrested on Assault Charges in Somerville

Sunday, May 25

James Huguley, 50, of 102 Exchange Ave., Medford, was arrested at 9:57 p.m. Sunday at 660 Broadway and charged with trespassing.

Charles Cashman, 62, was arrested at 12:05 p.m. Sunday at 180 Somerville Ave. and charged with shoplifting by asportation and trespassing.

Saturday, May 24

Alfrado Faherty, 20, of 268 Powderhouse Boulevard, Somerville, was arrested at 6:32 p.m. Saturday on Broadway on a warrant for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

Chasitiy Roca, 34, of 235 Westover Hills Drive, Cary, North Carolina, was arrested at 4:30 p.m. Saturday at 500 Mystic Ave. and charged with operation of a motor vehicle with a suspended license and speeding. Roca also had a warrant for operation of a motor vehicle with registration suspended and having an uninsured motor vehicle.

Jill Koerber, 34, of 51 Wallace St., Somerville, was arrested at 3:04 p.m. Saturday at 4 College Ave. and charged with assault and disorderly conduct.

Friday, May 23

Christina Laverentz, 33, of 66 Hume Ave., Medford, was arrested at 10:06 p.m. Friday at 381 Summer St. and charged with operation of a motor vehicle with a suspended license and failure to stop/yield.

Julio Castro, 33, of 8 Evertt St., Somerville, was arrested at 9:54 p.m. Friday at 8 Everett St. and charged with assault and battery.

Jannell Taylor, 25, of 16 Akron St., Roxbury, was arrested at 5:15 p.m. Friday on Alewife Brook Parkway and charged with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and speeding.

Thursday, May 22

Two juveniles were arrested at 1:37 p.m. Thursday at 91 Highland Ave. and charged with disturbing a public assembly.

Wednesday, May 21

Victor Perez, 21, of 510 Mystic Ave., Somerville, was arrested at 5:22 p.m. Wednesday at 510 Mystic Ave. and charged with assault and battery and destruction of property over $250.

Jeremy Gillis, 30, of 15 Weston Ave., Somerville, was arrested at 2:07 p.m. Wednesday on Bay State Avenue on a warrant for possession to distribute a drug and attempt to commit a crime.

Tuesday, May 20

Liban Ali, 22, of 362 Rindge Ave., Cambridge, was arrested at 4:55 p.m. Tuesday at 32 Myrtle St. and charged with operation of a motor vehicle with a suspended license, impaired operation of a motor vehicle and a marked lanes violation.
