2 Men Arrested on Drug Charges Near Davis Square

Charles Litopolous, 28, of 55 Adams St., Somerville, and Ryan Hughes, 27, of 10 Sheridan Ave., Medford, were arrested at 10:28 a.m. Saturday, May 31, on Grove Streets on drug charges.

Litopolous was charged with being present around heroin and conspiracy to violate a drug law.

Hughes was charged with possession to distribute a drug, a drug violation near a school and conspiracy to violate a drug law. He also had a warrant for possession of a Class A drug.

Monday, June 2

Jose Caldas, 35, 62 Madison St., Everett, was arrested at 12:03 a.m. on McGrath Highway on a warrant for assault with a dangerous weapon, operation of a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol and unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

Saturday, May 31

Jeff Banos, 33, of 47 Hanson St., Somerville, was arrested at 10:19 p.m. Saturday at 301 Medford St. and charged with disorderly conduct, destruction of property over $250 and resisting arrest.

Cameron Bourque, 19, of 88 Gillman St., Somerville, was arrested at 8:07 p.m. Saturday at 88 Gillman St. on a warrant for assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and malicious damage to a motor vehicle.

Stephen Collins, 29, of 27 Dickinson St., Somerville, was arrested at 6:13 p.m. Saturday at 35 Memorial Road on a warrant for walk/ride on railroad tracks, unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and conspiracy to violate a drug law.

Edgard Matos, 25, of 132 Garfield Ave., Hyde Park, was arrested at 4:16 p.m. Saturday at 77 Middlesex Ave. on a warrant for assault and battery, larceny from a person, felony breaking and entering during the day, possession to distribute a drug and violation of an abuse prevention order.

Hacene Mezri, 54, of 13A Cottage St., Somerville, was arrested at 10:43 a.m. Saturday at 300 Canal St. and charged with larceny over $250.

Thursday, May 29

David Kakles, 44, was arrested at 10:49 p.m. Thursday at 5 Canal Lane and charged with assault and battery (two counts).

Wednesday, May 28

Donna Toussaint, 49, of 8 Everett Ave., Somerville, was arrested at 5:52 p.m. Wednesday at 635 Somerville Ave. on a warrant for larceny over $250.

Kenan Smith, 33, of 33 Fairland St., Roxbury, was arrested at 5:36 p.m. Wednesday on Assembly Row on a warrant for operation of a motor vehicle with a suspended license (two counts).

Robert O’Leary, 45, of 24 Henley St., Medford, was arrested at 2:48 p.m. Wednesday on Prescott Street and charged with operation of a motor vehicle with a suspended license and failure to stop/yield.

Tuesday, May 27

Valerie Baker, 44, of 105 Chauncy St., Boston, was arrested at 7:19 p.m. Tuesday at 22 McGrath Highway on a warrant for larceny under $250 by single scheme.

Melanie Reddy, 30, of 12 Bickford Road, Malden, was arrested at 7:19 p.m. Tuesday at 22 McGrath Highway on a warrant for shoplifting over $100 by asportation.

Edson Costa, 47, of 14 Boston St., Somerville, was arrested at 7:10 p.m. Tuesday at 14 Boston St. and charged with assault and battery.

Mark Baxter, 50, of 37 Jaques St., Somerville, was arrested at 9:03 a.m. Tuesday at 175 Fellsway on a warrant for assault and battery.
