Cambridge Resident Wins Event at the North American Bridge Championship

Bernie Yomtov of Cambridge, Mass., (left) was part of the winning duo of the Levintritt Silver Ribbon Pairs event at the Spring North American Bridge Championship (NABC), one of 14 championship-level events held in Dallas from March 20 to 30.

 

Yomtov has played with teammate Allen Hawkins of Birmingham, Ala., for more than 40 years. The win is the first North American Championship for both men.

The NABCs are held three times a year across the U.S. and Canada to bring together players of all skill levels, from beginner to advanced, with opportunities for everyone to play daily. The 2014 summer and fall NABCs will be held in Las Vegas from July 17 to 27, and in Providence, R.I., from Nov. 27 to Dec. 7.
