Obituary: Edward 'Sully' Sullivan, 66, Retired Somerville Police Officer

Edward J. "Sully" Sullivan, 66, of Somerville, after a brief illness on Monday, June 30, 2014. 

Retired Somerville Police Officer. Beloved father of Tracy A. Champney and her husband Shannon of Clinton, Maine, Laurie A. Cushing and her husband Thomas of Tampa, Florida, and James A. Bennett and his fiancee Marcy Bois of Fitchburg. Brother of Paul Sullivan, Peter Chrimes and his wife Rhonda Raulston and the late Elizabeth "Lisa" Sullivan. Loving Papa of Nicholas, Matthew, Hannah, Emma and his expectant grandchild due in December. Beloved son of the late Joseph "Eddie" and Priscilla (Stuart) Sullivan. Loving uncle, cousin and friend to many. 

Relatives and friends are invited. Calling hours to be held at the George L. Doherty Funeral Home, 855 Broadway, Somerville, Friday, July 11, 2014, 4-7 p.m. 

Late veteran U.S. Army, Vietnam. Late member of the George F. Dilboy VFW Post 529 and American Legion Post 19.
