Danny, lovable blind cat up for adoption - also help with his medical bills is needed

I am Danny, an 8-year-old Male picked up (literally) off the street by a Kitty Connection volunteer. My eyes look funny because unfortunately, I am blind in 1 eye and partially blind in the other. This does not hinder me from being an extremely loving cat. 
My sense of hearing is far more sensitive than humans so I know where you are at all times and know when your hand is over my head to pet me. 
I am all white with large grey patches and long-furred. My coat is a little shabby now but some very good, nutritious food and a brushing will take care of that. I will be a very loving and faithful companion despite my handicap.  Will you give me a chance to have a home of my own?

Medical Update on Danny's Eyes! 
Danny is in need of Eye Surgery. We thought for sure that one of his Eyes would have to be Removed. He went to the Vet Today and it turns out he may need both of his Eyes Removed. They are recommending the removal of both eyes. Surgery is estimated at $700.
