The website rates nearly 3,000 cities in the United States, Canada and Australia, and the most recent rankings were released on November 6.

Somerville's rankings are based on comparing cities and towns regardless of their population size. When it comes to big, national cities, Somerville is too small to make the cut, though Boston is ranked as the third most walkable city in the country, behind New York and San Francisco.
