Photos: Patriots Day in Somerville, Paul Revere Visits Colonial Fair

Children played colonial games and met a famous historical figure.

Somerville celebrated Patriots Day Monday with a colonial fair and a visit from a Paul Revere reenactor on horseback.

Lt. Andrew Tobin of the National Lancers, a group that reenacts the Midnight Ride of Paul Revere, rode into on horseback, following closely the same route Paul Revere took on April 18, 1775, when he rode to Lexington and Concord.

In Foss Park, children played colonial games and learned about local history from volunteers dressed in period costume.
