GoFundMe Used By Somerville Fire Victims
Over the summer, friends helped raise money for Somerville residents whose homes were burned by fires.
As you all remember, a rash of fires ripped through Somerville over the summer. Nearly 150 residents were displaced in after about 15 major residential fires.
Some friends of those who were left homeless turned to GoFundMe for help.
- Noelle and Tamara raised more than $5,000 for their brother
- Alexis raised more than $3,000 for her friend
- Sarah helped her friend out by raising $385
Most of the fundraising on those particular GoFundMe campaigns is over.
