10th Annual Brian Higgins Foundation Trivia Night

Dear Friends,

The Brian Higgins Foundation is gearing up for our Annual Trivia Night. We established the Brian Higgins Foundation as a memorial to our late son/brother Brian and as a means of helping other children with special needs and their families. Our most important goal is to help relieve some stress even if it is for a little while for families with children who are differently-abled.

Over the years your support has helped award numerous scholarships, paid for medical equipment that insurance will not cover. We have bought assistive technology equipment to help the children connect with their peers and world around them.  We have given respite money to families so that they may just go out and have a little fun.  We have been able to send numerous children to summer camps. We also support Best Buddies of Somerville High School, Somerville Youth Hockey, the Challenger League Baseball, and Special Olympics of Massachusetts. And so much more that there is not enough room on this page.

Each year Over 700 people compete in one of Somerville’s most successful and enjoyable fundraising event. The Brian Higgins Foundation knows that events like this are only successful because of the kindness of people like you who are so willing to help. On behalf of the Brian Higgins Foundation, and the “staff” and the hundreds of special needs children that have benefited from your generosity we say Thank You. Your generosity has helped bring some much needed smiles. All money raised at this event goes directly to the children.

Therefore, it would be our honor if you could join us for THE TENTH ANNUAL BRIAN HIGGINS TRIVIA NIGHT at TUFTS UNIVERSITY, COUSENS GYM, on THURSDAY MARCH 22, 2012 at 6:00 PM. The trivia portion will consist of over 70 teams who compete against each other in the areas of LITERATURE, ENTERTAINMENT, HISTORY, SPORTS, MUSIC and MORE.

If you are unable to attend but would like to support the Brian Higgins Foundation, you could put an ad in our Mystery Book which is studied closely by the contestants.  We are also accepting donations of products or gift certificates for our raffle and silent auction tables.
