Washington St. Gallery Opening: Photographs by Ileana Doble H

From flying dogs to dancing gorillas, Washington St. presents the work of Ileana Hernandez Hernandez, constructed photographs of pets and humans as their behavior comments on one another. Humorous and inventive, the "Animal Nature" project portrays the artist's adaptation to a new environment where her main companions are her tireless pets, 2 dogs and 1 cat.  Ileana's work was selected for “Best of Photography” in Photographers Forum Magazine 2011, among other honors. She is a Mexican photographer and visual artist currently based in Boston.
Opening reception Saturday, February 8 from 6pm to 8pm.
