Sommerville Riverfest

RIVERFEST 2013 will be right here at Assembly Row on September 21, 2013 from 11:00am-8:00pm.

Join us for a day of local artists, food trucks, live music, a children’s fun area and a special exhibition of Steampunk Art and Design at the brand new DCR Baxter Park along the Mystic River!

Beginning at 11:00am ASSEMBLED: The Weekly Handmade Arts Market will take place in the new park and will feature the work of over 50 local artists and artisans – including jewelry, pottery, illustrations, toys, clothing, handmade confections and more.

At 11:00 grab a seat at the brand new built in amphitheater with views of the Mystic River and enjoy live music from local bands including:

All day long you can grab food from area food trucks including: Boston Super Dog – Frozen Hoagies – Bon Me Pasta Pot – Spud Stud – Tenoch – Rhythm and Wraps – LM Slush – Dough Cart

Kids will be entertained with face painters, balloon artists, roving magicians, a bubble zone, inflatable games, and a photo booth.

Hang out with us until dusk, and enjoy a fireworks performance over the Mystic!
