Somerville Neighborhood News Eps. 11 Watch Party
Somerville Neighborhood News is a production of Somerville Community Access Television, made by professional journalists, volunteers and staff. The half-hour news show is a lively and informative TV newscast focusing on stories that impact the Somerville community. A new episode airs at 7pm every two weeks on Ch. 3 and online at www.scatvsomerville.org/snn. Past news segments have been on the rise of heroin use in Somerville, the experiences of new immigrants at Somerville High School, the increase in property taxes, homelessness in the ‘Ville, and much more.
The SNN Watch Party is a fun way to raise awareness about the news show and to invite community members to engage in meaningful dialogue about local news all while supporting local businesses. That is right, we are talking about informed citizenry. Please come by Cantina La Mexicana on Tuesday, March 25th at 7pm. Mark your calendars as this event will happen the last Tuesday of each month.
