POLYNESIAN DANCE ARTS offers Introduction to Hawaiian Hula

This class for beginners will take the participants through the basic steps and terminology of hula, the beautiful and expressive dance of Hawai'i.

We will utilize these movements & steps in learning a complete choreography of a Hawaiian hula. In keeping with hula's storytelling nature, the meaning of the Hawaiian song will be discussed.  Translation of the song will also be provided.

Please wear clothing that allows for easy movement.(No long pants or skirts) (leggings, capris, shorts are best). Class is done in barefeet.

Class time: 6pm-7:15pm

Cost is $72.00 for the 6 week series. (No refunds on series after the 1st class)
Singles: $20.00 (discount is offered for those who sign up for the complete series after taking a single class.)
