It’s sugaring time in the Blue Hills! Join us as
we make maple syrup in the traditional way at beautiful Brookwood Farm in
Canton. Smell the wood smoke as you watch clouds of steam rise from the
bubbling sap and savor the taste of fresh, real maple syrup. Other activities
will include children’s games, traditional woodworking and blacksmithing, and
Birds of Prey from Trailside. Food and refreshments will be available. Entrance
fee is $6 per person. Registration is not
required.
For more information call
Mass Audubon at (617) 333-0690 or DCR at (617) 698-1802. For Brookwood Farm take
exit 3 off Route 93 and follow signs to Maple Sugar Days parking. Self -guided
outside tour, wheelchair accessible.
