Ellie Buckland and Isa Burke are fiddlers and singer-songwriters from musical families who grew up surrounded by folk music. They met at a fiddle camp in the woods of Maine, their shared home state, and are now both studying at Berklee College of Music. With two fiddles, two guitars, and two intertwining voices, they perform old folk songs, new Americana, and original songs in an acoustic roots style.

This Fall, Lord Geoffrey is presenting a "rising talent" (with the emphasis on Celtic / string band / old time music / contemporary variants) mid-week music series, featuring artists from the Berklee College of Music and the New England Conservatory.
Outpost 186 in Inman Square, Cambridge is the venue where Rushad Eggleston, John Mailander and Molly Tuttle launched the series in the Spring. It seats about 35, thus is small enough so no sound reinforcement is needed but big enough to accommodate discriminating patrons.
Lord Geoffrey is a scurrilous card-carrying member of the Boston-area folk scene whose mission in life is to re-kindle the great folk scare by presenting in rented unique spaces vintage musicians of that era as well as contemporary upstarts!
