Let's Go to the Rat! Documentary Film Benefit Concert

On
Wednesday August 28 there will be a benefit concert for Boston filmmaker Andrew
Szava-Kovats' upcoming documentary Let's
Go to the Rat!
, about the legendary Kenmore Square music club which was the
heart of Boston's punk/nu wave scene in the 1970s, '80s and '90s. The concert will
be at Johnny D's, 17 Holland St., Davis Square, Somerville and will feature
performances by Rick Berlin & the Nickel & Dime Band, The Schemers,
Lizzie Borden & the Axes, Men & Volts, Jamie Shaler, and Loose Ties,
all of whom performed at the Rathskeller. The concert begins at 7:30 PM and
tickets are $10 in advance and $15 at the door. Call Johnny D's at 617-776-2004
