Fayerweather Street School's ANTIGONE

The 7th and 8th grade classes at the Fayerweather Street School in Cambridge, MA are producing Antigone. Students have been working with director, Joy Lamberton-Arcolano since January to stage a modern adaptation of the classic Greek tragedy by Greg Banks. Students working on this production have been focusing on themes of social change and justice by exploring the story of Antigone’s fight against her oppressive uncle. The production combines live music performance and stylized movement, along with the text. The play will be performed on April 3, and 4 at 7:00 pm and 5 at 2:00 pm at the Fayerweather Street School 765 Concord Ave. Suggested donations are $5 and will be sold at the door.
