From Dr. Luther Bell, Director of the McLean Asylum on Cobble Hill, who instisted on humane treatment of the mentally ill to Daniel Stillson, inventor of the Stillson wrench to Harriet Wesdott, pioneer in dress reform for women, Somerville has always made room for creative thinkers.  Come hear acclaimed author, Dee Morris, speak about these and other ingenious Somervillians.
