Design Talk: The story of CUPPOW

The Friends of the Somerville Public Library present the third in their "Design Talk" Series.

In January of 2012 a group of designers, techs and artists from the Fringe business incubator in Union Square collaboratively created and marketed a mason jar lid called CUPPOW http://www.cuppow.com/

Industrial designers Joshua Resnikoff and Aaron Panone, and letterpress-packaging-magician Mike Dacey are lined up to speak on December 1; about being a local business, tell the product's creation story, discuss their experiences over the last year working in and with the city, demands and rewards of "collaboration" in a true sense, and sharing their advice w/ the crowd.
