All Things Horror presents....A MEASURE OF THE SIN

We're taking a little detour this month, with a slight hitch off our standard beaten track of horror, into something that's more psychologically jarring. Jeff Wedding's A Measure of the Sin examines the sad, bleak life of a young woman, who along with a house filled with other women, is kept under the thumb of domineering, sadistic man that controls every aspect of her existence. Shot on 16mm, the film looks as gorgeous as the content is disturbing. Oh, and there's a bear that only our lead can see.

"It’s exciting when talented filmmakers possess the daring to create something absolutely original.  Shot on 16mm, A Measure Of The Sin is one example of such a rare gem - a film that journeys far from the beaten path, and is written, shot, directed, and acted with great skill.  Visually and tonally, A Measure Of The Sin is extraordinarily unique - a haunting, harrowing, fascinating piece, saturated with creativity, striking images, a highly imaginative narrative, and excellent performances"  Eric Stanze Fearnet.com
