The Boston Comedy Festival Contest is one of the most prestigious Comedy
Contests in the world! During the week long festival 96 comedians from
all over the world have competed in a no-holds-barred stand up comedy
contest. Now just 8 of the funniest comedians on the planet remain. The
winner will walk away with $10,000!
Marc Maron will be receiving this year’s Comedian of the Year Award.
Marc is best known for his WTF pod cast and his sitcom on IFC Maron as
well as showcases on Conan, Comedy Central and Netflix.
The Lifetime Achievement Award will be presented to Emmanuel Lewis
who will receive his award for his iconic role on the hit sitcom
Webster.
