A 32-year-old woman who got out of the Davis Square MBTA station at about 8 p.m. Monday was indecently assaulted while walking down Dover Street, police said.

Gas main break at Maxwell's Green
Workers digging holes under the Lowell Street bridge ruptured a high-pressure gas main Monday. The fire department evacuated one of the new residential buildings at Maxwell's Green, and police shut down part of Lowell Street until the gas leak was under control.
