News From Tufts University: Kids Day, Peace Corps

Kids Day is coming up in April, and Tufts grads join the Peace Corps.

Tufts University recently posted some news on Somerville Patch:

Annual Kids' Day at Tufts Offers Fun for Children in Grades K-3
"Medford and Somerville children in kindergarten through third grade are invited to attend this year's Kids' Day at Tufts University on Saturday, April 13, from 8:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. on the Medford/Somerville campus. More than 300 kids typically attend this free, fun-filled day of activities, including kiddy carnival rides, entertainment by Tufts student organizations, game booths, and lunch." There will also be an animal show and a chemistry demonstration.

Tufts University Ranks as 2013 Peace Corps Top College
"Tufts University ranks No. 15 on Peace Corps’ 2013 Top Colleges for medium size schools. The annual list recognizes the highest volunteer-producing colleges and universities in the U.S. for small, medium, large and graduate institutions. There are currently 26 undergraduate alumni from Tufts University serving overseas.  Since the agency was founded in 1961, a total of 528 alumni have served in the Peace Corps.
