The price may be steep, but every penny goes to a good cause: RESPOND hosts its annual tonight at the Hotel Marlowe in Cambridge. This year’s honorees are Massachusetts First Lady Diane Patrick and domestic violence survivor Nadine Walker Mooney.

Congratulations to pharmacist Emma D’Alleva, who was recently awarded the 2011 Marie-Louise Ansak Award, presented each year by the National PACE (Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly) Association. In a release announcing the award, he organization lauded D’Alleva’s patient-centered care model and manner with patients.

4) Let’s Dance the Last Dance

It was the last vestige of a shinier, polyester-clad time, but the Faces sign has finally come down.
