Dec. 12, 2012 was more than a once-in-a-lifetime date, it was indeed a lucky day for Costco co-workers Rosa DeLeon, 52, of Arlington, and 54-year-old Reginald LeBlanc, of Lexington, who reportedly are set to split a $50 million Powerball prize. DeLeon and LeBlanc, who work at the Costco in Waltham, purchased a single ticket Wednesday at the Lexington Shell station at 915 Waltham St. that matched all six-numbers drawn last night (video), according to the Massachusetts Lottery website. The winning numbers were 08-10-25-36-44, Powerball 28. DeLeon and LeBlanc have decided to take the "lump sum" option of $33 million, $23.1 million after taxes. — John Waller

After about an hour of discussion, the Boston Conservation Commission  unanimously voted to issue an enforcement order, fining the Shipyard Quarters Marina Trust and owner/trustee Martin Oliner $25,000 per day until Pier 6 and Pier 8 in the Charlestown Navy Yard are repaired and made safe for the public. — Becca Manning

Medford Welcomes Elements Massage With Ribbon Cutting
In mid-October, downtown Medford got a little bit more relaxing with the opening of Elements Massage. Tuesday, Dec. 11 marked the ribbon cutting ceremony that brought Mayor Mike McGlynn, state Rep. Paul Donato, City Councillor Richard Caraviello and others from the Chamber of Commerce to welcome owner and operator Isabelle Wiryo and Elements to the city. The 40 High St. location for Elements is the 19th studio the chain operates in Massachusetts, having just opened its 21st studio last week in Shewsbury. — Jonathan Pickering
