Bruins game one
Hey "Vansterdam," our Canadians and token Eastern Europeans are better than your Canadians and token Eastern Europeans! And so it begins, game one of the Stanley Cup. You never saw Somerville wear so much yellow. (Seriously, you never did see that. Yellow is the new green, which used to be red.) The game starts at 8:00 p.m.

You don't need to be an experienced dancer, but you must love movement.

Paul Simon
Musician Paul Simon is playing tonight at the Citi Performing Arts Center in Boston (that's the "Wang Center" for those of you who are, like me, stuck about 16 years in the past). The concert begins at 8:00 p.m. For more information about tickets, visit the Citi Performing Arts Center's website.

The author has been a music critic for the Wall Street Journal, and his mystery delves into New York's artsy subculture. It also includes a dead cabbie and an exploding SoHo art gallery. Join the discussion tonight from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the .

Weather and Red Sox
Never turn the TV off after the seventh when the Red Sox are down 10-1. Last night they made it exciting, scoring six runs in the final two innings. They still lost. The Red Sox host the White Sox again this afternoon (1:05 p.m.) for the last of three games. So far it hasn't been pretty. Today's weather will be hot, with temperatures reaching into the 80s and thunderstorms possible later in the day.
