'Godzilla' Newspaper Box Designed By Somerville Artist Taken From Davis Square

The Digboston box stood out from its neighbors. Now it's gone, says the weekly newspaper.

Among the collection of newspaper boxes outside in Davis Square, one stood out.

It had little outstretched arms welded to its side and it was painted with sharp teeth and crazy eyes. Called, "Rawr: The Awkward Godzilla," it was designed by artist Cat Tweedie Ball, according to Digboston, which distributed its weekly alternative newspaper using the box. It was one of several specially designed Digboston boxes in Somerville.

Now, according to the newspaper, the box is missing and possibly stolen.
