Join us on East Broadway for Somerville’s fastest growing street festival, the 5th annual Carnaval@SomerStreets.   We take it to the streets to show off the unique flavor the East Somerville Community has to offer – For 4 years thousands have enjoyed food, music and culture from around the world in a 360 degree experience for the whole family. This year the fun gets even better with music and dance on THREE stages, arts and crafts, sports and martial arts, local ethnic food, dance demos and more!

Join the MOTION PARADE at 12 noon led by Mayor Joseph Curtatone.  Meet at the Cross Street Senior Center, intersection of Broadway and Cross St.

Specific acts include Marcus Santos and AfroBrazil, The Pennies, Afro D All Starz,  Duppy Conquerors, Hot Sauce Blues Jam, On Stage Dance, El Sistema Somerville, Dirty Water Brass Band, Banda de la Paz, Loma Larga, Meta Dance, Somerville Lions Club and more!

The Carnaval @ Somerville Streets is organized in partnership by the City of Somerville and East Somerville Main Streets as part of the City’s open streets initiative where streets are closed to cars and open to you!  This is East funded in part by the National Endowment for the Arts.
