Cambridge Public Library to hold Civil War event

CPL will hold an event about Clara Barton.

On Nov. 15 the main library in Cambridge, at 449 Broadway will host Jessa Piaia. She is a Clara Barton reenactor. Clara Barton helped to revolutionize how battlefied medicine was conducted. Artifacts and photos from the Cambridge Historical Commission, The Cambridge Historical Society, Red Cross and Mt. Auburn Cemetary will be on display. Civil War reenactor Jeff Lawrence will also portray Pvt. Orrin Cook of the Mass. 22nd Regiment. The doors of the main lecture hall will open at 6:30 P.M. It should be very interesting.
