Warning: The new owner has an explosive temper and a massive ego

I have never written a review on YELP before but I feel obligated to warn others about what an awful place this is. Thank goodness sites like YELP allow us to do this.

My partner and I have both been to Chris's auto in the past and were reasonably pleased with the service. However Chris's auto recently came under new and very different ownership.

When I went to pick up my car this past week after some repairs, I had an absolutely horrible experience.

Here are the main points:

1) I was overcharged $130. He tried to charge me almost twice as much as I actually owed. The owner argued with me before finally acknowledging that the bill was incorrect.

2) The leaky tire that I paid for them to repair was still flat. When I immediately returned to shop to point this out, the owner told me to "just keep driving". After I told him that I had checked the pressure on the tire myself and it only had 5 PSI, he said that I would need a new sensor for $165.

3) When I asked if could explain how he knew that I needed a new sensor, he was extremely rude. As soon as I pointed out that "there is no need for you to be rude". He exploded with RAGE. He verbally assaulted me and swung his hand back in forth in a threatening manner. A passer by quickly lent me his cell phone so that I could call 911.

4) When the police arrived, they assured me that it was not my fault and that they had been called to the premises to address his rage attacks before.

I do not understand how this place is still in business. It used to be a good place but it definitely is not anymore. I am way less concerned about the way the owner tried to overcharge me than I am about his vicious and seemingly potentially dangerous temper.
