Local Bank Promotes Financial Literacy

CAMBRIDGE, MASSACHUSETTS – Recognizing the importance of having a well-rounded financial education, East Cambridge Savings Bank is a proud supporter of National Financial Literacy Month, celebrated each April. Employees from the Bank partner with schools in the communities they serve to help educate students from kindergarten through twelfth grade on topics like saving, budgeting, and prioritizing needs over wants. East Cambridge Savings Bank’s Financial Literacy Program is proud to have partnered with local schools and organizations to promote financial well-being, including Fletcher-Maynard Academy, King Open, Peabody School, Just-A-Start, Cambridge Rindge and Latin School and Dearborn Academy.

East Cambridge Savings Bank has remained steadfast in its commitment to and support of financial literacy programs for over 30 years. The Bank’s Financial Literacy Program has been formally recognized by the American Bankers Association.  If you are interested in having an East Cambridge Savings Bank Representative conduct a workshop for your student group, visit www.ecsb.com/Financial-Literacy and complete a Financial Literacy Workshop/Program Request Form.
