Update: Union Square's Bronwyn to Open in WINTER

One of Boston's "most anticipated" restaurants is expected to open in Union Square this winter.

Update, Nov. 21: Somerville Patch just received some updated information about the opening of Bronwyn. Although the T.W. Food website said the restaurant would open in December, rennovations are taking a bit longer than expected, according to an email from Bronwyn's marketing folks. As a result, the expected opening is now in winter of 2013. So, you'll all have to wait a little longer to eat there.

T.W. Food was recently named one of Boston's best 50 restaurants of 2012 by Boston Magazine, and Somerville food lovers are hoping the Wiechmanns will bring some of that magic to their new Union Square eatery.

Bronwyn will open in the space formerly occupied by Ronnarong Thai Tapas.
Its addition to Union Square will help cement the neighborhood—actually, one specific corner the neighborhood—as an upscale dining destination.

Journeyman, around the corner from Brownyn, was also named one of the top 50 restaurants of 2012 by Boston Magazine. Casa B, right next door, has become one of Boston's favorite tapas spots.
