Two Somerville Restaurants Make 'Boston Magazine's' Top 50 List

Bergamot and Journeyman are two of Boston's top 50 restaurants, according to the lifestyle magazine.

Boston Magazine released its "The 50 Best Restaurants 2012" November issue, and two Somerville restaurants made the list: Bergamot and Journeyman.

About Bergamot, the magazine said, "Bergamot may look like the quintessential neighborhood restaurant, but appearances can be deceiving. Sophistication abounds here."

And for Journeyman, Boston Magazine said, "Some of the most inventive, elegant cuisine in Boston is coming from … a back alley in Somerville."

Online, the magazine took a "a closer look" at Journeyman, describing one of its carrot dishes.

It's the second year in a row Bergamot made the list. In 2011, Somerville's Posto was also included.
