Legal Sea Foods was founded more than 60 years ago by George Berkowitz when he opened a small fish market in Inman Square, Cambridge.  Today, President and CEO Roger Berkowitz leads the company in its legendary commitment to quality and freshness amidst its continued growth and diversification. With more than 30 restaurants up and down the East Coast, Legal Sea Foods has earned boatloads of honors and awards (among them: “Boston’s Most Popular Restaurant” by Zagat, 2011/2012 and for the past nine years in a row and the honor of serving its New England Clam Chowder at every presidential inaugural since 1981). We are thrilled that such a historic restaurant will be part of our new neighborhood.

Papagayo Mexican Kitchen & Tequila Bar is the playful, inviting eatery from Boston’s Legendary Restaurant Group (LRG) serving up homemade and contemporary Latin cuisine. Its unique menu is extensive but unpretentious, featuring familiar favorites and unique interpretations of the classics (including its famous tableside hand-hacked guacamole). With over 180 bottles of tequila to choose from, and a long list of appetizers and house specials, Papagayo knows its tacos and tequila. Papagayo in Assembly Square will be the second location, after the Fort Point location, in the Boston area.

Burger Dive is LRG’s newest restaurant concept (and will be their eleventh food service establishment): a quick serve, fun, high-energy, and casual burger joint. The menu will feature fresh, hand-packed burgers available with various protein selections (such as chicken, beef, turkey, etc.), a number of accompaniments, spiked milkshakes, hand-cut fries, fresh baked bread, and more. Co-owners Chris Damian and Brad Dalbeck are extremely passionate about this brand, as it will be their most laid-back concept, allowing them to do what they do best: have fun executing their ideas, and make people happy through their venues and services. A quick-serve style restaurant, Burger Dive will have 28 seats inside and a patio that seats 120. Keeping in line with the playful atmosphere, “The Burger Mobile” will be the official vehicle of Burger Dive, coming soon to the Somerville and Boston neighborhood. Interested parties can follow @burgerdive on twitter for live Burger Mobile updates (beginning soon) on the restaurant, as well as where in Boston the mobile will be offering samples of what soon to come at Assembly Row.

What is better than dinner and a movie? Assembly Row Is – they are going way beyond your typical day or night out – the neighborhood will feature nine city blocks of outlet stores, regional dining destinations, sustainable class-A business, amenity-rich residences, a theatre and hotel all surrounded by landscaped gardens, plazas and a 6-acre waterfront park along the Mystic River and it is all T accessible. The waterfront park will be home to annual community events like our upcoming Riverfest this Saturday and will soon be hosting health and wellness events right on the Mystic River that will compliment Mayor Curtatone’s Shape Up Somerville campaign.

Together we look forward to hosting Somervilles’ growing community and making sure Assembly Row is the premier place to live, dine, shop, work and enjoy.
