East Somerville Foodie Crawl Set for Sept. 18, Tickets Now On Sale

The "Foodie Crawl" lets people sample the wide variety of ethnic food available on Lower Broadway.

The East Somerville "Foodie Crawl," where people are able to hop from restaurant to restaurant to sample all the ethnic foods available on Lower Broadway, is taking place Sept. 18.

Organized by , the "Eat Outside the Square Foodie Crawl" features cuisine from around the world: from Haiti, Ethiopia, Brazil, Mexico, El Salvador, Italy, Ireland and elsewhere.

, more than 1200 people came to sample Lower Broadway's food, according to East Somerville Main Streets. A Groupon offering a deal on tickets helped get the word out.

This year, organizers are selling fewer tickets because 1200 people were too many, according to an email sent by East Somerville Main Streets.
